Fall, a painting for the workshop Nature in Your Mind. Sign up for the workshop and create intuitive art like this! By Peony and Parakeet.

In Week 3 I will walk you through my intuitive creative process. I create this painting in the video and explain thoroughly what I do and why in each of the steps.

Supplies

Each sample painting is created on a 12-by-12-inch canvas. Your canvas doesn’t have to be the same size. If you don’t want to paint on canvas, you can also create your piece in an art journal or on thick paper. You will need acrylic paints, brushes and gel medium to create the paintings.

Coming from the land of Marimekko (fashionable textiles) and Kone (smart elevators), I help people to bring more freedom and more meaning into their art making. I am inspired by the diversity and the beauty of nature and how it can be expressed in visual arts.

I invite you to paint nature whether it’s what you have seen outside or inside your mind!
